      Summary: Road Mitra ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to safeguarding user privacy. We do not sell personal data. All location, biometric selfies, and transaction records are encrypted on Google Cloud Firebase.
    

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide safe passenger rides and parcel deliveries:

User Profile Data: Full Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, and Profile Avatar.
Driver Partner KYC Data: Driving License (DL) Number, Live Front-Camera Selfie for face matching, Vehicle Registration Number, Bank Account Number, and IFSC Code. Aadhaar and PAN numbers are converted into SHA-256 cryptographic hashes for fraud prevention.
Real-Time & Background Location: We collect precise background and foreground location data from Driver Partners during active duty to enable ride matching, customer navigation, and fare calculation. Passengers' location is collected only while booking and tracking active rides.
Transaction Data: Payment transaction IDs, ride receipts, and wallet history. We do not store complete credit card numbers or UPI PINs.

2. Background Location Data Usage (Google Play Compliance)

The Road Mitra Partner App collects background location data even when the app is closed or not in use to:

Enable nearest customer ride dispatch within 1 KM radius.
Provide live turn-by-turn route tracking to customers.
Calculate accurate trip distance and automated fare metering.
Ensure emergency safety and live SOS coordinate broadcasting to Police (112) in case of accidents.

3. Camera & Biometric Selfie Policy

Camera access is requested strictly for taking live verification selfies before driver shifts and uploading photo proofs for packages. Photos are securely stored on Google Firebase Cloud Storage.

4. Data Security & Encryption

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3 / SSL, and all data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 bit encryption on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

Users and Partners can permanently delete their account and associated personal data at any time via the in-app Settings menu or through our public Account Deletion Portal.
